Columbia-Pacific Economic Development District (Col-Pac)

Col-Pac provides economic development assistance to Columbia and Tillamook and the western half of Washington
County. Col-Pac administers a revolving loan fund providing flexible gap financing for the expansion of existing
businesses, establishment of new businesses, creation of employment opportunities and/or saving of existing

MTC (Management & Training Corporation) serves the community in building a
workforce system that continuously meets the needs of job seekers,
employers and the current workforce. Services range from self-directed job
search with staff assistance to intensive training and mentoring services
with a Workforce Specialist that is responsive to individual employment
needs and plans. MTC empowers both adult and youth alike to meet the

Offers business recruitment, screening and referrals from a state wide applicant bank. The department's
local branch is located in Tillamook and provides office space for mass hiring interviews. The agency also
offers state wide and local labor force information. Monthly seminars on business practices are offered through the

Tillamook Bay Community College www.tbcc.cc.or.us
Offers job/work force training, professional/technical certifications and degrees, college transfer degrees,
literacy/basic skills programs, continuing education and business training. Tillamook Bay Community College
serves the entire county of Tillamook with educational and job training services that are focused on student
success. Each year the college serves approximately 3,500 students, or nearly 15% of the total population of

Tillamook Coastal Watershed Resource Center
The Tillamook Coastal Watershed Resource Center (TCWRC) is a repository of Geographic Information System
(GIS) data and an information link for locating and retrieving natural resource information about Tillamook County.
The Tillamook Coastal Watershed Resource Center provides technical support, training and education; public
access to high quality resource information: economic development opportunities in ecosystem and

Counseling & Information
TBCC Business Development Center (BizCenter) www.bizcenter.org
The BizCenter is a partnership program funded by Tillamook Bay Community College, the U.S. SBA
and receives grants from the State of Oregon Lottery funds. The Center offers Tillamook County
business owners and potential entrepreneurs assistance in free, confidential, one-on-one business
counseling , agency referrals and reasonably-priced workshops and seminars, as well as access to
resource materials from its business reference library. The BizCenter's professional staff are
trained and committed to assisting new and existing business owners/managers in the areas of:
financial management/planning, business plan/loan proposal writing, human resource issues, record
keeping, marketing/sales, government procurement, sources of capital, and business liquidation/sale.

Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) www.score.org
